2012-366 Day 262 – Decompression

Not many people know this about me, because not many people are around when I go to bed, but I am most definitely not one of those people who can come home and just go straight to bed (Ragnar, Half and Full Marathons excluded). I require at least half an hour, if not more, of not doing much in order to decompress after the day. Usually this is fine, but it can lead to problems if I get home particularly late (like 1 in the morning, since then I’m pretty much guaranteed not to go to bed until after two). Alright, it’s probably more of an annoyance than a problem, but that’s just how I’m wired.

Today was nice and busy, and I’m decompressing now, so I’ll see you tomorrow.

Even as a toddler, it took an hour of you playing in your room before you wound down enough. Then you fell asleep on the floor.

I still believe you could change it if you wanted to, though 🙂
